Cults‘ lead vocalist Madeline Follin has recently contributed vocals to various rock records by the likes of Dom as well as her brother’s band Guards. And according to her other half, Brian Oblivion, she’s “quickly becoming the Nicki Minaj of indie rock.”

Her most impressive collaboration might come soon in the form of Fucked Up’s upcoming ‘rock opera’ David Comes To Life in June as Follin reveals she has contributed vocals to one of the eighteen songs on the album.

“We did a record with the same engineer,” Follin tells AUX. “They were in the studio at the same time as we were finishing our record so they heard our record and asked me to come in. I think it’s going to be on their upcoming album.”

The whole thing is hush hush at the moment, but we can only expect good things from this mix of sweet vocals and the well-oiled machine that is Fucked Up.

David Comes To Life has a June 7 release date and spans a total of 78 minutes.
