Wyclef Jean says he has "no idea" who shot him

Wyclef Jean was shot in the hand this weekend while visiting the Haitian city of Delmas, however he says he has “no idea” who tried to harm him.

“I got out of the car and heard gunfire,” the recent presidential applicant said about the incident. “The next day I noticed there was blood on my shirt and speakers. I have no idea who fired the rounds or whether they were shooting at me.”

According to a spokesperson, the former Fugees member is doing fine and thanks fans for their thoughts and prayers. The country is set to hold general elections where Jean had attempted to run for President, but failed to register because of the lack of time he spent living in his home country. [Daily Star]
