Because few things are as good as stealing the iPod from your favourite musician to judge him or her on their musical taste, we’ve started asking bands what songs they can’t stop listening to. This time, we got a mini-playlist courtesy of Bombay Bicycle Club’s Jack Steadman and Ed Nash.

The band recently played CMW in Toronto before heading to Austin for SXSW performances. Whether you’ll consider their current musical favourites surprising remains to be seen:

1) Beach House – “Zebra”

2) Miles Davis – “So What”

3) Talking Heads – “This Must Be the Place”

4) Dorothy Ashby – “Joyful Grass and Grape”

5) No Doubt – “Don’t Speak”

6) Doris Day & Bing Crosby – “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”
