Watch a banned Nintendo commercial feat. Wu-Tang Clan from 1993

Here’s just what your Friday needs—an unearthed Super Gameboy commercial from 1993 featuring members of Wu-Tang Clan and graffiti/street art collective COD Crew. It also features voiceovers from RZA and ODB and the music was produced by Prince Paul. This is a true gem.

It seems that COD member Wen had uploaded this to his Vimeo a few weeks ago; thanks to the inimitable Vulture for somehow finding and sharing with the rest of the world.

According to Wen, the commercial, which features the graffiti-ing of a wall in Williamsburg, was banned from broadcast for “being too ill.” Indeed! Watch the commercial below.
