A statute of Michael Jackson will be built outside the stadium of English soccer club Fulham FC. Apparently the club’s chairman, Mohammed Al Fayed, was a close friend of Jackson’s and was there when the pop singer visited the stadium for a match in 1999. [NME]

Lupe Fiasco’s long awaited third LP Lasers has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 selling 204,000 copies in its first week. Adele’s sophomore album 21 remains in the #2 position. [Idolator]
