This morning's new music news; Sarah McLachlan has confirmed Lilith Fair will no longer take place, Black Lips reveal release date for their new album and Justice are apparently releasing a new single this spring.

Sarah McLachlan has confirmed the end of the female-focused music festival Lilith Fair due to poor ticket sales. “[It’s] about learning more from our failures than our successes, and it was a beautiful organic event that happened at a point in time when it was really needed,” she said. Black Lips will release their upcoming album Arabia Mountain on June 7 via Vice Records. The album was produced by Mark Ronson and is their sixth studio effort following 2009’s 200 Million Thousand. [Exclaim!]

And french duo Justice will put out a new single entitled “Civilization” on April 4. [Consequence of Sound]
