This morning's new music news; Interpol bassist Dave Pajo has left the band, Shad has released a new iTunes session album and a Le Tigre documentary will come out in June.

Interpol bassist Dave Pajo, who replaced original member Carlos D, has left the band according to their official website. “Dave has decided to step out of the spotlight for a spell, and will no longer be touring with Interpol. We’re all friends. It’s just an Out-of-the-hotel, Into-the-home sorta thing,” the band said in a statement. Shad has released a new six-track iTunes session, which was recorded at Metalworks in Toronto. It includes different versions of the tracks “Yaa I Get It” and “Rock to It.”

And a Le Tigre doc entitled Who Took The Bomp?: Le Tigre On Tour will premier at the upcoming SXSW Festival. It will be available on DVD June 7. [Consequence of Sound]
