Taking Back Sunday release new song with old line-up

Exactly one year ago today, Taking Back Sunday underwent a change. Sort of. On March 29^th, 2010, Matt Rubano and Matthew Fazzi left the band, and the next few days were filled with rumours about a possible reunion of the band’s original line-up. Two days later that rumour was confirmed, and now, one year later, the band has put their first song since reuniting online.

“El Paso” is the first single off the bands as of yet unnamed follow up to 2009’s New Again, and you can hear it in a video created by the band below. A mash-up of tweets from their fans and the song’s lyrics, the video—which we can only assume won’t be the track’s actual, official video come the album’s summer release—does a great job at accentuating the band’s new, more aggressive sound.
