Early last month English band Klaxons announced a brief North American tour in support of their latest EP Landmarks of Lunacy as well as last year’s Surfing The Void, however a recent post on the band’s Facebook page indicates that the entire tour, including a date in Vancouver, has been cancelled.

“Klaxons regret to announce the cancellation of their upcoming North American shows in March and April due to unforeseen circumstances,” the post said. “Anyone with a proof of purchase for their tickets is entitled to a free download of an exclusive song unavailable elsewhere. Email ticket scans or purchase confirmations to info@klaxons.net”

Surfing The Void is the band’s sophomore album following their Mercury Prize-winning debut Myths of Near Future from 2007. The EP Landmarks of Lunacy was released as a free download on Christmas Day.
