Four years have elapsed since we’ve had some new cinematic backing music from Austin, TX’s Explosions in the Sky, so right on cue they’ll be releasing a new record on April 26 called Take Care, Take Care, Take Care.

The new album will consist of six tracks and we’ve got one of them available to listen to below. “Trembling Hands” sounds (as you would expect) like all of their other material, but there’s nothing wrong with sticking with what you’re good at.

The quartet, whose last album All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone was released in 2007, will be touring in support of the new record (including a show with Arcade Fire in Texas on May 4), though no Canadian dates have been announced. You can pick up Take Care, Take Care, Take Care on April 26.

Take Care, Take Care, Take Care tracklist:

01. Last Known Surroundings
02. Human Qualities
03. Trembling Hands
04. Be Comfortable, Creature
05. Postcard from 1952
06. Let Me Back In
