The time for CMW has come, and instead of leaving you to curl up by your schedule to weep in overwhelming frustration, we’ve compiled daily listings to prevent the festival from breaking your spirit. Just don’t blame us when you want to be in two (three or four) places at once. Behold:

Luckily for you, Wednesday’s the perfect transition to ease you from the daily grind into CMW madness, so after dinner, head down to Wrongbar to check out LA rapper Murs (on at 10 p.m.) who promises to deliver a packed house.

If you’re daring and want to test out the power of your bracelet and/or media pass, try your luck at the Phoenix for Vancouver’s Mother Mother (on at 11:30) who’s headlining a sold-out show alongside Whale Tooth (9:30) and Birds of Tokyo (10:30). True, the show’s sold out, but as festival magic would have it, a limited number of wristbands and passes will be granted access. Just be prepared to ‘bring it.’

If you get denied the above show, fear not: Arts and Crafts darling Gentleman Reg goes on at the Gladstone at 11:30, which is only a “quick” stroll away from the Bovine Sex Club which will be showcasing Organ Thieves at 2. Southern grunge rock to some, that band with ex-members of Sum 41 and Cauterize to others. Remember to make sure you grab some street meat on the way home.
