If there’s one thing Lykke Li understands, it’s power. But unlike the commanding video for her upcoming album’s debut single, “Get Some,” the video for her follow-up track, “I Follow You” uses a bleak landscape and haunting imagery to carry the narrative, with the singer determinately following a man who’s desperate to escape.
Directed by Tarik Saleh, this haunting and emotional visual counterpart is further testimony to Lykke Li’s storytelling capabilities, and takes anticipation for her sophomore record, Wounded Rhymes to entirely new heights. [via Dazed Digital]
