This morning's new music news; The Go! Team will play Toronto's Opera House in April in support of their new album, Aretha Franklin says she is "feeling great" after reports said she had been diagnosed with cancer and PJ Harvey's first single off 'Let England Shake' arrives January 17.

The Go! Team will be touring North America this Spring in support of the release of their forthcoming album Rolling Blackouts, due out January 31. Unfortunately the band will be making only one Canadian stop in Toronto on April 10 at the Opera House. [Exclaim!]

Aretha Franklin says her recent health problems are now “resolved” after reports suggested she had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She refused to comment on whether it was cancer or not, but wanted fans to know “I am feeling great and coming along.” [JET]

And PJ Harvey will release her new album’s first official single called “The Words That Maketh Murder” digitally on January 17. A 7″ inch vinyl copy will later follow on February 7. The album, entitled Let England Shake, will be released on Feburary 15. [The Quietus]
