Manic Street Preachers will release a new single called “Post Cards From A Young Man,” also the name of their latest album released last year. The band are apparently recording some new songs to accompany it as a b-side. A new album, their 11th, is expected sometime this year. [NME]

And starting next month Telekinesis will be touring North America in support of the release of their sophomore album 12 Desperate Straight Lines, due out February 15 via Merge. The band have Canadian dates booked in Toronto (March 6), Montreal (March 7) and Vancouver (March 27). [Consequence of Sound]
