This March Born Ruffians will hit the road for a Canadian tour in support of their latest EP Plinky Plonk starting at Victoria, BC’s Sugar Nightclub. The 18-date tour will take them from west to east making stops in most major cities and ending in Halifax on April 7. [Exclaim!]
Friendly Fires will release a new album this Spring entitled Pala, which is said to be a reference to Aldous Huxley’s novel Island. The band’s self-titled debut was released in 2008. [NME]
And Neil Young will receive the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award at the Junos gala in March for his charitable efforts. [CBC]
