This morning's new music news; Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros singer will release a new solo album, Ladytron is preparing a 'Best Of' compilation album and The Black Keys performed "Howlin' For You" on David Letterman.

Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros singer Alex Ebert will release a new solo album entitled Alexander on March 1. A sophomore album from Ebert’s other band is also expected this year. [Exclaim!]

Ladytron will release a ‘Best Of’ compilation album in March as well as a brand new EP featuring several remixes of their track “Ace of Hz.” The band are also reportedly working on their fifth studio album. [NME]

And The Black Keys continued their dominance of the late night comedy stage with a performance of “Howlin’ For You” on David Letterman. Watch the clip below.
