In the makings of a super-alt. after-school special, Taylor Momsen has apologized to her parents after previously claiming they “ruined her childhood” since she was forced to work all day, every day since the age of two.

In a recent interview, Momsen admitted she “still went through the ages” and that she likes “where she is now, so it’s okay”, claiming her parents “have learned by this point that none of [what they read] is probably true, and words can be put in your mouth.” (So, does this mean she doesn’t want to be Kurt Cobain anymore, or can we still refer to that quote on a regular basis?)

Of course, no stranger to the headlines, the Pretty Reckless singer has also commented on the wide world of fame, claiming it’s essentially “high school on a massive, massive scale” and that she plans to “focus on [her] music and doing what I do”. [via Music-News]
