Earlier this week we mentioned that Dropkick Murphys will followup last year’s Live on Landsdown with a brand new LP called Going Out In Style, but what we didn’t tell you was that The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, will be featured as a guest vocalist on one the album’s songs.

Springsteen will switch places with frontman Ken Casey on a rendition of “Peg O’ My Heart”, a song that was originally published in 1913. “It links two generations,” Casey said. “We’re spanning a lot of years of music here, yet our songs share similar themes, stories, and values.”

It has also been revealed that NOFX’s Fat Mike will be making a guest appearance on another of the record’s 13 tracks. Due out March 1, the album will be the band’s first LP since 2007’s The Meanest of Times. Rolling Stone has an exclusive stream of lead single “Memorial Day”. [CofS]
