Kanye West, Jay-Z album gets "solid and official" release date

At a show on New Year’s Eve Kanye West, presumably under the influence of alcohol (or some power trip), said his new collaborative album with Jay-Z entitled Watch The Throne would be released sometime this week, however a source close the rapper and Def Jam recently said otherwise.

According to FakeShoreDrive, Watch The Throne has a “solid and official” release date of March 1 and the album’s first single could be released as early as January 11.

The upcoming album has reportedly been in the works since August of last year and is “going to be very dark and sexy, like couture hip hop.” Apparently Jay-Z is also working on the follow up to 2009’s The Blueprint 3.
