Judas Priest working on new material

In June, Judas Priest will embark on what they’re calling a final world tour starting in Norway, however it has recently been revealed the English heavy metal band are now working on new material, according to a post from their website.

“The guys are working together on writing new material – all is going really well,” the post read.

Confirming to fans that this upcoming tour will not be the band’s last, guitarist Glenn Tipton said, “to put everyone’s mind at rest, this is by no means the end of the band. In fact, we are presently writing new material, but we do intend this to be the last major world tour.”

The Grammy Award winning band’s last album Nostradamus, a concept album, was released in 2008.
