Flaming Lips confirm collab with Neon Indian?

Because you can never have too many musical collaborations, Wayne Coyne and Neon Indian look to be teaming up together, as per the wide world of Twitter, a video and the Flaming Lips frontman’s nonchalant less-than-140-character declaration:

“Fuckin with a song called “Is David Bowie dying??” for Neon Indian collaboration”

Earlier this week, Coyne told SPIN that he and the chillwave connoisseurs have plans to hit the studio with producer Dave Fridmann, and that there were “a couple of tunes that he (Fridmenn)’s heard”, and that “we’ll just do that shit and fix that up and fuck around together”.

Groovy. Whether this union will be part of the “one song a month” plan the Lips have for the upcoming year remains to be seen, but either way, our interest is peaked.
