Like other Irish-folk influenced punks, Dropkick Murphys—whose upcoming Going Out Of Style LP will be out in March—Flogging Molly has announced they’ll be releasing an album this Spring (following 2008’s Float). The as-yet-untitled album’s first single “Don’t Shut ‘Em Down” has been released online and is available to download through the widget below in exchange for your email.

While no exact release date has been revealed for the band’s fifth LP, the Ryan Hewitt-produced album is expected mid-May. A massive US toured has been planned to start next month that will go until April, where they’ll play Coachella. Sadly, no Canadian dates have been announced. We’ll keep you posted if that changes.
