Coachella 2011 lineup reveals Death From Above 1979 reunion

The official Coachella lineup has finally been released, and with it comes news of a Death From Above 1979 reunion and performances by Kanye West, the Arcade Fire and – gasp! – The Strokes.

Not that anyone should be surprised, mind you: every year, music fans from around the world congregate for their chance to see icons, legends, buzz bands and everybody else give it their all in Indio, California, and 2011 is no exception.

Scheduled to take place from April 15 – 17 at the Empire Polo Field, this year’s festival is another testament to relevance and controversy. Case in point: why have Kings of Leon been deemed bigger than Lauryn Hill?
