Bob Dylan signs new book deal with Simon & Schuster

Bob Dylan’s Chronicles: Volume One came out in 2004 and to this day it’s still considered one of the greatest books ever written by a musician. Besides making our Top 5 Autobiographies list, it was lauded by critics as it gave readers a look into the life of the legendary singer/songwriter while still being mysterious and vague. A true Dylan trait.
The prospect of Volume’s Two and Three could now be realized with Rolling Stone reporting that Dylan has signed a new six-book deal with Simon & Schuster, with two out of the six books devoted to finishing his autobiography. Another book will apparently be based on dialogue from Dylan’s Sirius/XM radio show Theme Time Radio Hour.
The focus for the other three books has yet to be revealed, but we’ll keep you posted when any new details arrive.
