Best Coast and Wavves to release split 7"

It was only a matter of time before lo-fi/surf rock bands Best Coast and Wavves released something together, since the lead vocalists from both bands are a couple.

The two acts are touring North America together starting later this month and to celebrate their hot-boxed gigs at various venues, they’ll be releasing a split 7″ on Mexican Summer entitled Summer Is Forever, with each band contributing new songs.

The 7″ will be a tour-only release, however a digital copy is due out and will include some previously unreleased tracks as well as another song from other touring partner No Joy. Check out the tracklist for Summer Is Forever and view the Canadian tour dates below.
