What hell hath this new year brought?

On the eve of 2011, everyone’s favourite party philosopher/all-around happiest guy Andrew W.K. referenced a 4chan-made video for his song “Party Party Party” on his Twitter. 4chan, the—oh, how the hell do you describe 4chan, even? It’s 4chan. The overwhelming (10+ million users a month) rat king-kinda messageboard-thing got in touch with Andrew W.K. and asked him to host a live Q&A on the site. It’ll be happening on February 13 at 7pm EST.

Already, 4chan operates as an over-stimulated stream-of-conscious, if what was in your brain was all Lolcats and YouTube clips, so to add an enthusiasm like A.W.K.’s—not to mention the predictable flurry of activity from the regulars and the glared-at newcomers—you’d be best to approach as though running into a large crowd of pigeons. Which is to say, maybe don’t do it.

A.W.K. himself is, naturally, stoked. We look forward to reading the highlights from the tsunami of strange about to happen.
