A new documentary called 30 Century Man directed by Antony Crook and centered on round-the-world champion cyclist James Bowthorpe contains a edited version of a new Mogwai track called “How To Be A Werewolf” that’s set to appear on their forthcoming album Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will.

The band have released a excerpt from the upcoming doc featuring Bowthorpe riding his bike through the Norwegian countryside accompanied by their new song. The Scottish band saw the footage and decided to edit the song and make a version exclusively for the film.

“We found the perfect backdrop to tell this story of somebody who points his bike at the horizon and then doesn’t stop pedaling. It’s a film about never giving up,” the director said. Watch the video below.

Mogwai’s Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will comes out February 15 on Sub Pop.
