This morning's new music news; Lauryn Hill will be playing some Canadian shows early next month, Kings of Leon had to postpone their gig in London after a tour bus caught fire and Vampire Weekend have release a new iTunes Session EP.

Lauryn Hill has announced she will be playing two Canadian dates on her upcoming solo tour that will begin on December 27 in New York. Hill will play in Toronto on January 22 at the Sound Academy and in Montreal a day later at Metropolis. [Exclaim!]

Kings of Leon’s show last night at London’s O2 Arena was postponed after one of their tour buses caught fire earlier that day. Around 60 firefighters put the blaze out while no injuries were reported. The band has rescheduled their gig for sometime early next year. [NME]

And Vampire Weekend have released a new iTunes session EP, which was recorded back in September at New York City’s Avatar Studios. The EP contains covers of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m Going Down” and The Honeycombs’ “Have I The Right”. [Consequence of Sound]
