This morning's new music news; Andrew Bird has released a new live album, Peter, Bjorn & John have slapped a title on their upcoming record and Belle and Sebastian will stream their "Holiday Spectacular" concert online next week.
Andrew Bird has released a new live album, which is available to download from his official website. The album marks the fourth installment in his Fingerlings series and was recorded last December at the Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago. [Exclaim!]
Peter, Bjorn & John will release their upcoming sixth studio album entitled Gimme Some next year. According to drummer John Eriksson, “We originally planned to make a punk rock album, but listening to it now it’s definitely a pop rock album.” [Clash Music]
Belle and Sebastian’s performance next Tuesday at the Barrowland in Glasgow will be streamed live in its entirety on NPR. The band are calling it a “Holiday Spectacular.” [Belle and Sebastian]
