It’s official: not only is  Miley Cyrus your average (incredibly famous and wealthy) North American teenager, she’s your average North American teenager circa 1996.

If you haven’t been privy to TMZ’s footage so far, the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer was caught taking a (massive) bong hit with some friends, laughing unabashedly, speaking in tongues, and channeling Slater ala Dazed and Confused (only less cool) – a 90s reference that co-incites with the fact that Bush was the group’s soundtrack of choice..

So this means we’ll support her inevitable venture into rock and/or roll now, right? Watch the video over at TMZ.
