A few weeks back we had our first taste of the new Oasis, that is Liam Gallagher and all the other members except principle songwriter/guitarist Noel, and it sounded a little different from what we had previously heard from the Manchester band.

Despite whether you enjoyed the new song and music video by Beady Eye entitled “Bring The Light,” the fact that it sounded different is a good thing. It showed they’re not just trying to copy what the Brit Pop band did so many years ago and they’re take a chance with making it on their own esteem.

Our full diagnosis of Beady Eye is set to take place this upcoming February when the band release their debut album called Different Gear, Still Speeding, which sort of is them saying “we don’t sound like Oasis, but we’re still fucking great.”

The UK release date for the album is February 28 so naturally it is expected to come out on our shores a day later. View the tracklisting for the album, recorded with producer Steve Lilywhite in London’s RAK Studios, below. [NME]
