Jack White’s Third Man Records will be releasing Wanda Jackson’s forthcoming album The Part Ain’t Over on January 25 and one of the tracks off the album is a cover of Bob Dylan’s Thunder on the Mountain” from his 2006 album Modern Times. White, who is also producing Jackson’s new record, appears on the track as well, which was released as a 7″ last month along with a cover of Hank Williams’ “Dust on the Bible.”

Apparently White personally asked Dylan what songs he thought Jackson should cover for her new album and he suggested “Thunder on the Mountain.” Other contributors to the singer’s new disc include Jack Lawrence (The Dead Weather/The Raconteurs), Carl Broemel (My Morning Jacket), Patrick Keeler (The Raconteurs), Ashley Monroe, Jackson Smith and Karen Elson.
