Eric Clapton announces world tour, Vancouver date

Staring February 14 in Singapore, legendary singer/songwriter/guitarist Eric Clapton will kick off a world tour in support of his latest solo album, Clapton.

Accompanied by session musicians Steve Gadd, Willie Weeks, Chris Stainton and backing vocalists Michelle John and Sharon White, Clapton will be playing gigs in North America in late February leading into March. One Canadian date has been confirmed for Vancouver on February 25 at Rogers Arena.

After touring these shores the former Yardbirds and Cream member will head back overseas for shows in the UK and other parts of Europe. Clapton is his first solo album in four years and was released this past September.
