Deerhunter perform "Helicopter" on Conan

In the middle of a very smoky stage, Deerhunter performed the track “Helicopter” on Conan O’Brien’s show last night and in doing so made their national television debut. The track is off the band’s latest record Halcyon Digest and this performance sounds about the same as the recorded take, which isn’t a bad thing since it’s one of the album’s highlights. “Who’s cleaning this up,” Conan asks after the performance wearing some tight ass blue jeans. He can get away with that’s because he’s Conan.
