Cold War Kids announce 2011 tour dates

Cold War Kids will be releasing a new LP, their third, on January 25 called Mine Is Yours via Downtown Records and they’ve recently announced their tour schedule for next year in support of it.

Starting March 3 in Portland, the quartet will be touring North America till early April, which includes a couple Canadian dates. They’ll be at Lee’s Palace in Toronto on March 18 and in Montreal a day later for a show at Corona Theatre.

Lead vocalist Nathan Willett said in an interview with Spin this past October that the album “has a grand and sprawling sound. [It’s] a big, ornate rock record. We really strapped down and wrote songs that are more ornate and intricate than anything we’ve done before, while also refining and capturing the wildness of our live shows.”
