Like Kanye West post-Today Show, Badly Drawn Boy (aka Damon Gough) has taken his proverbial ball and gone home, having treated LA crowds to a monumental meltdown that can only be compared to the likes of an after school special on anger management.

After only four songs, the British rocker allegedly channeled his inner Michael Richards, threatening to fight the crowd after the Troubadour’s sound failed to live up to his expectations. Including the “c word” amongst his choice vocabulary, the singer referred to his audience as “LA t****ts” after reportedly admitting the show was a “f*cking disaster” and that he wanted “the world to swallow [him] up”. (And we thought DJ Tanner’s “nobody understands me!” declarations were bold.)

While it was likely a crowd member’s taunts of “you’re not a Beatle!” didn’t help, Gough ended up holding it together long enough to return to finish the set – this according to an attendee who’d previously Tweeted he wanted to fight “this f*cked up slag”. Whether or not the frontman plans to initiate a fight at the flagpole during recess remains to be seen. [via Popeater]
