This morning's new music news; Tennis will release their debut LP in January, Tom Waits' first four albums will be reissued on vinyl in December and Damon Albarn has formed a new band with Tony Allen and Flea.

Denver-based husband and wife duo Tennis will release their debut LP Cape Dory on January 18. The band have a few North American dates scheduled in December with stops in Montreal (December 7) and Toronto (December 8). View the cover art for Cape Dory above. [Exclaim!]

Tom Waits’ first four albums for Asylum will be reissued on 180-gram vinyl on December 21. A thousand copies of each album will be released on red vinyl from the official Tom Waits website.

And Damon Albarn has formed a new band with drummer Tony Allen and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea. Apparently the unnamed act are “three-quarters finished” their debut album. [Stuff]
