This morning's new music news; Cut Copy have announced the title and release date for their upcoming third album, Cloud Nothings will release their debut LP in January and Interpol will tour North American in early 2011.

Cut Copy will release their third album Zonoscope on February 8 following 2008’s In Ghost Colours. Band member Tim Hoey spoke about the album saying, “we certainly are using all sorts of electronic instruments, more synthesizers, computers, all of that, but contrasted with more organic sounds, more organic percussion.” [SPIN]

After releasing a few singles and a EP, Dylan Baldi aka Cloud Nothings will release a self-titled debut LP on January 25.  The new album “shines through with a crispness and boldness that Dylan has always envisioned. The songs now sound as they do live: full of energy, precision and catchy bits.” [Exclaim!]

And Interpol will be touring North America early next year in support of their latest self-titled album. Kicking off the tour in Vancouver on January 27, they’ll be making stops in Toronto (February 15) and in Montreal (February 16). [NME]
