This morning's new music news; Godspeed You! Black Emperor have announced three more Canadian dates in Montreal, The Luyas will release their label debut on February 22 and Blink 182 hope to put out a new album next Spring.

Along with three dates in Toronto this upcoming April, Godspeed You! Black Emperor will also be playing three shows in their hometown of Montreal. The band will play, April 27-29 at Montreal’s Corona Theatre. [Constellation Records]

The Luyas will release their label debut on February 22 called Too Beautiful to Work. Recorded in Toronto, the album is apparently a “picture-perfect collection of echo-drenched space-age pop songs” and features Owen Pallett and Arcade Fire’s Sarah Neufeld on violin and strings. [Exclaim!]

And Blink 182 have revealed a potential release date for their next album. “We want to deliver the record in April or May, for release very soon afterward,” Mark Hoppus said. “The only thing more important to us than getting the record out in that time is getting a great record out. If it isn’t absolutely ready at that point, we’ll keep working until it is.” [bompa]
