This morning's new music news; A Jimi Hendrix-owned guitar is set to sell at an auction for £120,000 in London, the next Bonnaroo festival will take place in June and The Chills will release a new live album to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

A guitar owned by Jimi Hendrix which he used to play songs such as his cover of Bob Dylan’s “All Along The Watchtower” is set to sell for £120,000 at auction in London. Hendrix bought the axe second-hand for £15 in the mid-’60s. The auction takes place on December 15. [NME]

Next year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival will take place on June 9 – 12 in Manchester, Tennessee. The pre-sale for tickets beings on November 26 at noon.

And New Zealand band The Chills will be selling copies of a new live album at a show on November 27 in their hometown of Dunedin to celebrate their 30th anniversary. [Slicing Up Eyeballs]
