This morning's new music news; Telekinesis! will release a new LP in February via Merge, The White Stripes are putting out a massive new merchandise package that includes a portable record player and Laura Marling has recording a new EP with Mumford & Sons.

Telekinesis! will release their sophomore album 12 Desperate Straight Lines on February 15 via Merge. It was recorded in Portland with Death Cab For Cutie member Chris Walla and the result is “twelve new songs of heartache, anger, and even a little hopefulness.” [Exclaim!]

The White Stripes have announced they’ll be releasing a limited-edition merchandise collection just in time for Christmas. The package will include a portable White Stripes record player and LP record box, various vinyl LPs and seven-inches, headphones, a slip mat, a record cleaning brush and three middle hole adaptors for 45s. Pre-orders start December 1, the package will ship before December 21. [Third Man Records]

And Laura Marling and Mumford & Sons will release a collaborative EP on December 9. The four-track EP was recorded in Deli during their 2009 tour through India. [Consequence of Sound]
