First Aid Kit talk 'The Big Black & The Blue' with AUX

First Aid Kit are a Swedish duo consisting of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg who released their full-length debut The Big Black & The Blue in January. During their stay in New York City for CMJ, AUX chatted with the two sisters about some memorable concert experiences, traveling and the process of recording their latest record.

“(We recorded) over six months and we were still in school,” Klara said. “We’d record during the holidays and the weekend so it was kind of a special way of recording. I don’t think a lot of people record albums that way. It’s going to be exciting when we go in and do our next album whenever that may be to do it another way and see how that works.”
