This past August, heavy metal band Disturbed released their fifth studio album entitled Asylum. In an interview with HARD while on tour in Toronto, band members David Draiman and John Moyer spoke about their melodic sound, lyrics, future prospects and worshipers of heavy metal music.

Despite having triple-majors in Business, Philosophy and Political Sceience, Draiman believes fans of Disturbed or heavy metal music have no trouble connecting with the music and its message. “I think a lot of people who really invest themselves in hard rock and heavy metal are much deeper than you might imagine and you shouldn’t second-guess them because they’re worth of it and they deserve to be challenged.” Watch the full interview below.
