Watch Antony & the Johnsons perform on Jools Holland

Last night Antony Hegarty from Antony & the Johnsons gave a solo performance of the track “Thank You For Your Love” on Later…with Jools Holland. For this take the singer didn’t need his backing band as his vocals and piano fill the room on their own. In a sense the song becomes more powerful or meaningful coming from the person who wrote it. His band’s latest album entitled Swanlights, which includes this track, has just been released.
