Eye to the Telescope and followed it up with 2007’s warmly received Drastic Fantastic.  This year, the Scottish songstress returns with her third full-length release Tiger Suit, and leads the record with the dynamic and engaging “Fade Like A Shadow”, the energetic and captivating track that maintains her unique brand of guitar-driven pop.

Showcasing her powerful and inviting vocals, the single is reminiscent of material put forth by 90s pop-rock favourites, with its upbeat vibe and charming melody evoking the spirit of early Lisa Loeb or a less-politically driven Cranberries.  A song perfect for changing leaves and hot cups of tea, “Fade Like A Shadow” is simply asking to be put on an Autumn-themed mixtape, with its catchy beat serving as a testimony to the fact that you really can dance – or walk with positive determination – to anything.

Heading to Vancouver on the 1st of November, you can only hope she adds more Canadian stops to her North American tour to save everyone from their annual dose of daylight savings blues.
