This morning's new music news; Caribou will release a remix album for his latest LP 'Swim,' a set of John Lennon's fingerprints have been confiscated by the FBI and NPR is currently streaming recent live shows by Deerhunter, Superchunk and others.

Caribou will release a remix album for his recent Polaris Prize shortlisted album Swim. Featuring 15 tracks by Junior Boys, Fuck Buttons, Nite Jewel and Gold Panda, the remix will be available digitally on November 2. [Exclaim!]

A set of John Lennon’s fingerprints have been seized by the FBI from a memorabilia shop in Manhattan. According to spokesman James Margolin, the FBI is investigating how they came up for auction.  The singed fingerprint card was made at a police station on May 8, 1976. [Billboard]

And NPR is currently streaming a few live concerts that took place recently including Deerhunter’s set in Washington, D.C., Superchunk and The Tallest Man On Earth. [NPR]
