This morning's new music news; Cold War Kids will release a new LP called 'Mine Is Yours' in January, Fleet Foxes still have 'ways to go' before finishing their sophomore album and Chromeo have announced some Canadian tour dates for early next year.

Cold War Kids will release their third LP entitled Mine Is Yours on January 25 via Downtown Records. Recorded with producer Jacquire King who has worked with Kings of Leon and Tom Waits, frontman Nathan Willett said the lyrics are about “the joys and failures of commitment.” [Exclaim!]

Despite claims earlier this year that they were nearly finished the followup to 2008’s self-titled debut, Fleet Foxes say they still have ways to go before completing their as-yet-untitled sophomore album. “This is how the first record went too, I think two songs were kept from the first batch of 12 we recorded for that album,” member Robin Pecknold said. “Back into the cave. Thanks for waiting/caring, we just want it to be really great.” [NME]

And Chromeo have announced a string of Canadian tour dates early next year in support of their latest record Business Casual. Check out our AUX Weekly interview with the band below. [Chromeo]
