Toronto’s shiniest one-man-buzz-band, Diamond Rings, has released his first full-length, Special Affections, this week. The first sparkly single, “Something Else,” can be downloaded here, now.

“Something Else” has John O leaning more on the electric guitar while pushing his voice a bit harder than what we’ve heard on his first few singles. For four and a half minutes, your foot will be tapping to his ‘80s glam beats and indie rock-flavoured chorus lines. You’ll likely come out of it wanting to add some flare to your look, maybe even for your Halloween costume.
