This morning's new music news; Kings of Leon are set to release their fifth studio album on October 19, BC band Shapes and Sizes have a new LP that's currently streaming online and it has confirmed that Brian Eno will put out a new album later this year.

According to Direct Current Music, the new album from Kings of Leon will drop October 19 following 2008’s Only By the Night. This will be the band’s fifth studio album and recently they’ve tried out some new songs while on tour tentatively titled “Mary”, “Immortals”, “Radioactive” and “Southbound.” [Direct Current Music]

British Columbia band Shapes and Sizes have a new LP out today called Candle to Your Eyes and it is currently streaming in full over at Exclaim!. Their last album, Split Lips, Winning Hips, A Shiner was released in 2007. The band are under Sufjan Stevens’ Asthmatic Kitty record label. [Exclaim!]

And Brian Eno will release a new album this year according to Warp Records. Earlier reports have indicated that Eno is working alongside guitarist Leo Abrahams and Jon Hopkins. [Pitchfork]
