This morning's new music news; Caribou has remixed Hot Chip's "Brothers" for a remix album called 'We Have Remixes,' The Vaselines have released a free download of the title track from their upcoming album and Massive Attack and Thievery Corporation will co-headline a tour starting in October.

Hot Chip will release a remix EP called We Have Remixes on September 14 that will feature reworked tracks from their latest album One Life Stand. Other artists remixing the songs include Hot City, Todd Edwards, Osborne and Caribou, who has contributed a new version of “Brothers.” Stereogum is currently streaming the track. [Stereogum]

The Vaselines have released a free download of the title track “Sex with an X” from their upcoming album due out this September. The song is also the second single off the album and will be officially released this week. [The Vaselines]

And Massive Attack will co-headline a North American tour with Thievery Corporation. Starting this Fall the two bands will kick off the tour in Montreal at the Bell Centre on October 18. Thievery Corporation will be supporting their compilation album It Takes a Thief, while Massive Attack have already announced they are working on Heligoland’s followup. [Exclaim!]
